A Traveller’s Guide to Heaven & Hell.
Two Destinies puts in front of the reader a Biblical explanation of the two great journeys all people will one day undertake. This book is a long overdue and informative examination of what the Bible says about heaven and hell, and what we might understand of these two destinations.
John is enthusiastic about his faith, his family and Biblical research. These have come together in this well-researched and readable work. Qualifications and valuable experience in education and a particular emphasis on psychology and counselling are combined with a breadth and depth of Bible knowledge gained over many years to produce this book. John lives near the south coast of Cornwall and in his retirement is part of a local church, enjoying DIY, dog walking and keeping Pekin bantams. Occasionally he plays golf. He has been married to Ruth for more than 50 years and is proud of four sons and eight grandchildren.
When and where possible, he points others towards Christ.
Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali, Former Bishop of Rochester, writes: “A highly personal and readable account of those two supernatural realities which await us.”
Revd Karl Carpani, Senior Hospital Chaplain, King’s College Hospital Trust writes: “An easy read for anyone wrestling with their own understanding, and a useful prompt for a deeper enquiry.”
